"For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen." Romans 11:36
How do we worship our creator passionately? I find myself worshiping God more when I understand His greatness.
FROM HIM
Everything is from God. He created everything, it wasn't an idea from man. We give God glory, because as sinful people we can not come up with a plan to save ourselves. When sin entered the world people didn't even care about making a plan to get back to God. We give thanks to God for creating the prefect plan to save us.
THROUGH HIM
If the human race even came up with a plan, we wouldn't be able to pursue it, because of our sin nature. The only way is if someone perfect intervened. Through the work of Jesus Christ we are saved by faith through salvation. We give glory to the God, because he intervenes.
TO HIM
The glory is given to God, not to me, and not to you. We receive fulfillment in giving Him honor and glory.
For us as Christians to figure out that our worship is molded from him, through him, and to him; how much more passionately will we worship?
